FaithSearch Partners has been retained to conduct a search for a Vice President of Finance & Operations for Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Southwest Baptist University is an unapologetically Christ-centered liberal arts university with more than 100 areas of academic study on undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. SBU serves over 2,700 students on five campuses throughout southwest and south-central Missouri.
The Vice President of Finance & Operations (VPFO) will advise the president on all matters pertaining to the fiscal management, risk management, and administrative operation of SBU. This leader will serve on the Executive Cabinet and work closely with the president in shaping the development of the University’s short-range and long-range planning. The VPFO will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the University which include the areas of Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Physical Plant Maintenance and Grounds, IT, as well as outsourced contracts for the areas of Food Services, the Bookstore, and Conference Center.
