Founded in 1937 as Atlanta Christian College, Point University is an innovative Christian university located in West Point, Georgia, 85 miles southwest of Atlanta. With an enrollment of more than 2,800 students, Point offers degrees across traditional undergraduate programs as well as adult and graduate programs. Of distinction is the Elevate program, a subscription-based model for employees of Chick-Fil-A and other corporate partners that allows students to earn their degrees while working full time.
After nearly 20 years as president, Dr. Dean Collins plans to retire as the university’s seventh president in June of 2025. The new President will have the opportunity to build upon the past decade of entrepreneurship and lead the institution into a thriving future, with a focus on continued enrollment growth, engaging the local and broader Atlanta community, and further development of the Elevate program.
