FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce its partnership with Pacific Union College (PUC) to assist with the search for a new Nursing Department Chair. Pacific Union College is a fully accredited Seventh-day Adventist Christian college located in the heart of California’s Napa Valley. PUC has a strong academic reputation with over 70 degrees and programs, cutting edge research, classes taught by Fullbright scholars, and a diverse student body. PUC is part of the California Pacific Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, with the mission of preparing its students for productive lives of useful human service and uncompromising personal integrity.
The college offers pre-nursing classes, an Associate of Science degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. In addition, an LVN to RN program is offered.
The Nursing Department Chair will grow and develop the degree programs and ensure appropriate faculty assignment to classroom and clinical teaching. The Chair will also achieve demonstrated success in leading the department through various accreditation and regulatory reviews. The successful candidate will direct and supervise the Nursing, Health Sciences, Emergency Services and Global Health departments at PUC This Academic Leader will become a valued team member of the PUC faculty and will advance the PUC mission and contribute to the College’s focus on a whole-person approach to patient care.
