FaithSearch Partners has been retained to conduct a search for a Provost for Adventist University of Health Sciences (ADU) in Orlando, Florida. The University has more than 2,000 students and offers a doctoral program with more doctoral programs planned in three years. ADU is closely affiliated with Florida Hospital and provides students the clinical experience a major teaching hospital can provide. Florida Hospital has 1,393 beds and is a globally recognized medical center that is the largest of more than 350 healthcare facilities, worldwide, operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The Provost is a vital academic and operations leader at Adventist University of Health Sciences. The position will work closely with the President who recently transitioned from the Provost role to become President of the university.
“ADU is a growing university that has the amazing support of Florida Hospital,” said Ivan Bartolome, Senior Vice President at FaithSearch Partners. “They have a new President, Dr. Edwin Hernandez, who had been their Provost. We are delighted that Dr. Hernandez has moved into this role. He needs an additional partner leader who can help continue to improve and expand their academic offerings and provide operational leadership. The next Provost will need to be an exceptional and experienced university leader who shares the Seventh-day Adventist beliefs of the organization.”
