FaithSearch Partners committed to expanding its Academic service line with the addition of Amy King, its newest Vice President/Consultant, to its Academic search team. King brings more than 20 years of leadership experience, including leadership stints at the University of Denver and Colorado Christian University, to FaithSearch’s higher education practice.
“Amy has proven to be an integral leader throughout her career in higher education,” said Ed Fry, President of FaithSearch Partners. “With her background in human resources and faith-based academics, we’re thrilled to add Amy to our executive search consulting team.”
In her new role with FaithSearch, King will serve as a consultant on executive searches in higher education for its academic service line. Over the last two decades, she has served on seven separate boards of trustees and committees while serving as the Vice-Chancellor of Human Resources at the University of Denver and building a successful strategic HR consulting/coaching practice. She also launched the formal HR function at Colorado Christian University earlier in her career.
King holds a master’s degree of professional studies in leadership and organizations from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree of science in organizational management from Colorado Christian University.
“I am honored to join FaithSearch Partners and its mission to provide exceptional leaders for faith-based organizations,” stated King. “I’m humbled by the opportunity and can’t wait to use my passion for people to serve FaithSearch’s clients.”
