FaithSearch Affiliate Leads Virginia Hospital Chief Medical Officer Search

FSP Leaders, an affiliate of FaithSearch Partners focusing on executive search in secular (non-faith-based) healthcare systems, has been retained to conduct the search for the Chief Medical Officer for Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is an independent, not-for-profit acute care hospital comprised of the 310-bed main hospital, the Sidney M. Oman Cancer Center, and several other services and locations.  It employs 2,400 people and has a medical staff of 600 physicians.

Reporting to the President/CEO, the Chief Medical Officer will be accountable for and oversee clinical quality/patient safety and medical staff relations within the hospital. The position will serve as a critical and core leader for all hospital strategic initiatives.

“We are honored to be managing this important search in Virginia’s third largest city,” said Ed Fry, President of FSP Leaders and FaithSearch Partners. “Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is an impressive healthcare provider and will need an exceptional, experienced medical leader. The next Chief Medical Officer will have a unique opportunity to shape high quality healthcare in the Chesapeake area for the next generation.”
