Founded in 1924, Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) was established with a clear mission: “to glorify God by equipping godly servant-leaders for the proclamation of His Word and the building up of the body of Christ worldwide.” Or, more simply, to teach truth, and love well.

DTS is seeking an Executive Director of Employee Success to fill the top leadership role in human resources for the Seminary. S/he will be professionally prepared to lead system-wide people and culture operations to enhance existing talent strategy, leadership development and training services, workforce analytics, recruitment operations, and rewards and recognition systems for the Seminary’s community of staff, administrators and faculty. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Executive Director will partner with the DTS Executive Leadership Team and manage all day-to-day operations related to the organization’s people systems, including providing HR oversight for DTS national satellite locations (e.g., Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Houston, etc.).

Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required and a master’s degree in organizational development or business administration would be an advantage. Professionally, qualified candidates will have completed several years working as an HR generalist with at least 2 years in HR leadership, preferably in faith-based education, healthcare or a similar industry with a wide range of recruiting mandates, compensation variation and unique cultural attributes. S/he will have demonstrated experience in successful team leadership, and policy and procedure development/implementation, management coaching in employee relations, recruiting, compensation, and benefits and HR automation.
