Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) is seeking an Executive Director of Advancement to serve at their Dallas campus. This leader will play an important senior management role in leading the team securing gifts to support the mission of the school: “To glorify God by equipping godly servant-leaders for the proclamation of His Word and the building up of the body of Christ worldwide.

The Executive Director of Advancement will oversee all aspects of donor development and gift cultivation for the department. Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, the Executive Director will have responsibility for managing his/her own portfolio of donors, leading a team of major- and mid-level gift officers, and managing the Advancement Department’s budget.

The ideal candidate will have a player-coach profile, and will have demonstrated success in closing six- and seven-figure gifts through the cultivation of relationships with donors. S/he will have demonstrated development experience, specifically in leading field team members in reaching or exceeding individual and team goals in fundraising. All qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate and articulate their ongoing journey as a follower of Christ and as a person of strong character and high integrity.
