Central Texas Medical Center Names New Chief Nursing Officer

FaithSearch Partners, the leading executive search firm focused on faith-based hospitals, healthcare systems, colleges/universities, churches and ministries, is pleased to announce its client, Central Texas Medical Center, has selected Elsie Graves as its new Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer.

As CNO, Graves will be responsible for overseeing directly and indirectly all nursing care, and some ancillary services, provided at its facilities. She will be tasked in particular with leading quality and patient satisfaction scores to even higher levels.

“Elsie is an exceptional candidate having an extensive background in nursing leadership and a strong emphasis on clinical performance, patient satisfaction and productivity,” said Jim Boyle, Senior Vice President at FaithSearch Partners. “With her expertise, she will help lead Central Texas Medical Center to achieve its goals of continually improving patient experience and optimizing patient outcomes.”

Graves most recently served as Chief Nursing Officer at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills in San Antonio, Texas. She holds a master’s degree in health services administration from Saint Joseph’s College, a bachelor’s degree of science in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Excelsior College, and an associate’s degree in applied sciences in nursing from the University of the State of New York.

Central Texas Medical Center, located in San Marcos, Texas, about 30 minutes south of Austin, is a 170-bed hospital providing a wide range of complex healthcare services for the city of San Marcos and neighboring communities.
