Work Begins on $75 Million Upgrade at Trinity Health System
Trinity Health System in Steubenville, Ohio had demolished an outpatient center to make room for a new five-story patient tower, as reported by WTOV, channel 9. The new building, which will take two-and-a-half years to complete, will wrap around the hospital’s existing entrance and will include a new main lobby, additional public spaces, and new private patient rooms.
Mercy Medical Center Earns Women’s Choice Award
Part of Trinity Health of New England, Mercy Medical Center has been recognized by the Women’s Choice Award for Cancer Care, according to MassLive. America’s Best Hospitals for Cancer Care comprise of facilities that provide comprehensive cancer care with a full range of diagnostic and treatment services. A renovation in 2015 added 26,000 square feet to Mercy’s original cancer center, providing access to a full range of services. The Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
