FaithSearch Partners is delighted to announce its partnership with By The Hand Club For Kids in launching a national search for its next Chief Development Officer. By The Hand is an after-school program that takes kids by the hand and walks with them through college, helping them have abundant life—mind, body and soul. Over the past 21 years, By The Hand has aggressively grown into a transformational mission for the city of Chicago and will serve more than 1,700 Kindergarten through twelfth grade students at six locations in the coming year.
By The Hand aspires to serve over 2,400 kids by 2027 with an operating budget of $15 million, the vast majority of which will come philanthropy. The next Chief Development Officer will provide leadership and overall direction to the ministry’s fund development efforts, lead a team of 15 to 20 development professionals, and engage leadership and stakeholders to ultimately fund the mission objectives.
