FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce that its client, Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center (SGMC), has selected Patsy McNeil, MD, as its next Chief Medical Officer, effective May 14. SGMC is a 305 bed facility in Rockville, Maryland, operated by Adventist HealthCare, a faith-based, not-for-profit integrated, healthcare delivery network serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

“Patsy is an exceptional candidate having extensive expertise and an accomplished history as a healthcare executive and physician leader,” said Ed Fry, President of FaithSearch Partners, who directly managed the search. “With her insight and experience, she will help guide Shady Grove Medical Center to the next level of excellence in patient care and help shape high quality healthcare in the region area for the next generation.”

McNeil most recently served as Chief of Patient Experience of USACS East. She holds a doctorate of medicine degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree of art and science in biology and anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis.
