Intending to build a community hospital with the residents of the DFW suburb of Mansfield in mind, the joint venture between Texas Health and Adventist Health System will begin construction later this month. According to GlobeNewswire, the new facility will take two years to build and will offer a full variety of services.

Kettering Health Network appointed Ron Connovich president of Fort Hamilton (Ohio) Hospital. According to Kettering’s press release, Connovich joined the Kettering network in 2012, holding operations and finance roles prior to this appointment.
Children’s Hospital Tower Steel Frame Complete; Adult Tower Reaches into Loma Linda Skyline
After the final piece of structural steel was placed atop the new Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital tower last month, two of the three main elements of the new Medical Center project were complete. According to Loma Linda University’s press release,” construction continued on the 16-storey Adult hospital tower, with completion anticipated in December.”
Washington Adventist Hospital Offers Innovative Heart Treatment

Western Colorado Hospital Sale to Centura Edges Closer
Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado has signed a letter of intent to negotiate with Centura Health. According to The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, the final decision is expected in early 2019. Community Hospital’s CEO, Chris Thomas, indicated this agreement will give Centura a strong presence in western Colorado.
California Hospital Re-opens Under ‘Glorious Partnership’ with Adventist Health
Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, Tulare Regional Medical Center reopened on October 15. Adventist Health was chosen by the medical center board to manage the facility earlier this year. As reported in the Visalia Times Delta, board president Kevin Northcraft has indicated that Adventist Health has exceed expectations. The facility opened within days of receiving state certification.
