Tampa General Hospital, AdventHealth Develop In-House Coronavirus Testing
People who have COVID-19 symptoms and meet CDC criteria for testing have more options in the Tampa Bay area. AdventHealth has three drive-in sites where patients with a doctor’s referral can get swabbed. According to WTSP, Channel 10 News, AdventHealth and Tampa General have begun testing in-house, getting results within 12 hours.

Known for his principled leadership and commitment to Christian values, Don Jernigan succumbed to his earthly illness on March 7. He led AdventHealth for a decade, when the organization experienced steady growth. He was a prominent speaker on issues of leadership, health care, science, education, and the military. Art Therapy at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley Brings Comfort and Healing to Cancer Patients
In an effort to help those battling cancer, Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is offering group art therapy classes. Free to patients who are impacted by cancer or other chronic medical illnesses, they provide a safe place to explore emotions during healing.
