In addition to all Adventist Health hospitals currently undergoing a rebranding process, the health system recently announced an update to its mission, The Sentinel reports. “Our new mission statement goes from sharing God’s love to living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope,” Andrea Kofl, president of Adventist Health Central Valley Network, said. “That’s important to us because we want to have our mission statement reflect what we are doing on a daily basis.” Adventist Health has hospitals throughout California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii and 4,000 physicians, providers, employees and volunteers.

Centura Health, Anthem BlueCross Reach Agreement
After some worry that Anthem BlueCross BlueShield may drop Centura Health from its network, the two organizations “have finalized terms of a [Colorado] statewide, three-year agreement to take effect May 1,” according to The Durango Herald. Centura Health has 17 hospitals across Colorado and western Kansas and more than 6,000 physicians and 21,000 employees, in addition to 2 senior living communities, health neighborhoods, physician practices and clinics, home care and hospice services, and Flight For Life® Colorado.”
