Senior Vice President & Healthcare Practice Leader
Michael Knecht serves as Senior Vice President and Healthcare Practice Leader for FaithSearch Partners, where he partners with hospitals, health systems, senior care organizations, and faith-based healthcare ministries to identify and recruit transformational executive leaders.
Michael brings a distinguished record of senior healthcare leadership, with deep experience in strategy, growth, operations, culture, innovation, and mission-driven organizational transformation. Prior to joining FaithSearch, he served as President of AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, a 500+ bed nonprofit hospital with $610 million in net revenue and 3,500 team members. In that role, he provided executive leadership across hospital strategy, growth, finance, operations, medical staff, and foundation initiatives. His leadership contributed to sustained quality recognition, service-line expansion, major capital projects, and a strong culture of team member engagement and patient-centered care.
Michael’s perspective is shaped by his uncommon combination of healthcare executive experience, innovation leadership, theological training, and architectural background. Most recently, he co-founded Sentio Insights, an AI-driven company using large language models to transform client conversations into actionable business intelligence. This blend of operational discipline, strategic insight, and mission alignment equips him to serve clients seeking leaders who can navigate complexity, strengthen culture, and advance organizational impact.
Michael earned an Executive MBA from the Peter F. Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, a Master of Divinity from Andrews University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Andrews University.
